Grow on Penn Garden community planting: Saturday, June 4, 10 a.m. until noon! The Grow on Penn Garden, at 3600 Penn Ave. N., is a communal garden where everyone is welcome. New this year: a straw bale garden inside the Grow on Penn Garden. Come on over and learn about straw bales and help plant this year’s vegetables with STS, and our community partners.
Save the Date: June 16. Folwell’s Ice Cream Social and Resource Fair is coming back to Folwell Park on Thursday, June 16. This is a wonderful event for kids, their families and Northside residents! Ice cream, bouncy houses, Pop Up Park in the east field, face painting, and the opportunity to meet and greet resource folks that serve the neighborhoods. 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on a sunny Thursday evening!
