North First: SAFETY

Join your neighbors for our 2016 North First: SAFETY “What does ‘Safety’ mean to you?” social event on April 25 at 6 p.m. at the Capri Theater. This is a great opportunity to get to know other residents, enjoy happy hour, and hear some brief presentations about topics of interest to our community.

Spring Clean Up! – May 7 10 a.m.

Spring is in the air and we want to work together to make Cleveland the beautiful place we all know it to be. Join your friends and neighbors on May 7 for a spring clean and celebration lunch. It’s going to be a great event and we hope you and your neighbors can make it out to join us.

Community Garden, Tiny Fields and Rain Gardens!

Join the Garden Team at Vincent and Lowry on April 9 and 23 10 a.m.-2 p.m. to help start our Community Garden. It’s going to be a great gathering.

Want a Tiny Field, a boulevard vegetable garden, or a Rain Garden, to reduce stormwater run-off? Contact the office today to get signed up for either one! Details on the website.

Join a Committee in 2016!

We offer residents of the Cleveland Neighborhood numerous ways to get involved in the decision making and priorities of the neighborhood. One way to get involved is to join a committee. We have four committees that meet monthly at 6:30 p.m.

Youth (2nd Wednesday) – Work with youth and plan events that benefit the youth and families.

Crime & Safety (1st Monday) – Work together to address community concerns and promote block clubs and neighborhood gatherings to promote safety and increase livability.

Community Development (2nd Monday) – Actively promote and give input on development, housing, and other issues that the city and other developers are seeking input on.

Events (2nd Thursday) – Help plan our community events such as our annual meeting, Live on the Drive, and more.

The Cleveland Neighborhood Association is here to serve its residents. Please contact us via phone at 612-588-1155, text at 612-567-1262, or email at cna@ClevelandNeighborhood.org.
