The Hennepin County Housing and Redevelopment Authority (chaired by Comm. Higgins) has approved the transfer of the property at 4414 Humboldt from the county to the HRA, and authorized the staff to negotiate with Pillsbury United Communities on their purchase of the property for the purpose of a grocery store there. The terms of the negotiation will come back to the HRA for final approval at some point.
The board also met in committees on June 9 and approved the conceptual design (pictured) for the Webber Park Library, and authorized going out for a contractor and extending the architect’s contract. It was unanimously approved and will be on the consent calendar for final approval.
